I am a fully qualified Level 7 Specialist Teacher and Assessor for Dyslexia and Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), with nearly 15 years' experience working with children and young people across primary, secondary and alternative provision settings.
Having worked as a teacher, SENCO and specialist literacy teacher, I have extensive experience supporting children with dyslexia, literacy difficulties and a range of additional learning needs.
As the founder of Wise Bird Education, I believe children make the greatest progress when they feel understood, supported and confident in their abilities. Every learner is different, so I personalise my approach to their strengths, needs and goals.
I provide specialist dyslexia assessments for children and young people aged 8–14, alongside specialist tuition for ages 5–16. Support can range from phonics, spelling, reading and writing through to study skills and examination preparation.
My aim is not simply to identify areas of difficulty, but to help children understand how they learn, recognise their strengths and develop practical strategies to help them flourish at school and beyond.
Whether your child needs targeted literacy support, help preparing for examinations, or a clearer understanding of their learning profile, Wise Bird Education provides specialist support in a warm, nurturing and encouraging environment.
